It’s good to be back! My absence from MovieBrit over the last week has been the result of the ambitious project by Disney to oversee the first successful transformation of a video game into a movie – Prince of Persia: Sands of Time. Easter weekend for me was lost amongst the excitement of WonderCon in San Francisco, where Jake Gyllenhaal (PoP), Jerry Bruckheimer (Producer), Mike Newell (Director) and Jordan Mechner (PoP Father) took to the stage in front of 5,000 sets of eyes. Jerry looked a little overawed, Jordan looked proud, Mike could say Hassansins like noone else and Jake looked pretty (‘I think you should know that’ said the questioner).
